What started as an effort to create meaningful alternatives to excessive screen time evolved into an initiative, then an organisation, and now a movement of Weaving Happiness into every life we touch.

A Journey Towards Creative Wellbeing

We saw everyone around (including us) getting busier on the gadgets, with the increasing influence of social media and easier access to internet on mobile phones . The teenagers and young adults were also experiencing the negative impacts of excessive use of the above. As parents we were worried.

As an experiment, a young mathematician, took two teenagers to the East Coast Park Beach, in Singapore. Her search for an engaging, creative, easy to carry and low cost activity beautifully ended when working with the Crochet hook (our magic wand), some yarn and focused quality time gave those teens a sense of achievement, pride and happiness.
